Weekends go too quickly! At least weeks go pretty quickly themselves...
I was thinking about it, and I understand why I like to stay up so late now. I like to stay up late, cause its the only way to have more freetime. I have to wake up early and go to work, go to class and work on HW. I'm not home until 5, at which time I have to eat dinner, shower, and work on even more HW. If I go to bed at the time my body needs (probably 10) I would have only a couple hours of freetime a night. I know thats probably normal, but its pretty...lame. If I want freetime I can't cut it out of the day, so I cut it out of the night...
What I think is really funny about this, and something I definitely noticed this weekend is: I go to bed earlier on the weekends. I don't have to stay up late thinking, I'm going to lay my head down, and in 2 seconds I'll be waking up way too early to go to class. Instead, I know I get to sleep in and do whatever I want right when I wake up. Therefore going to bed isn't bad, if waking up isn't bad. So its 12:30 now and I'm making myself go to bed, even though I don't want to. If I had gone to bed at 12:30 last night, it would of been no big deal!
On a sad note, I think I might be getting sick? I hope not, but today I've started to notice a sore throat.. Sometimes that happens when I spend too much time in my room (which I did this weekend), so I'll hope its just that. Buuut illness has been making its rounds at my work and I'm the last one unaffected. Lets hope I don't get sick, or if I do its quick and I'm healthy and not contagious by next weekend! (Hopefully going to Edmonds.)
Anyhoo, goodnight! Oh darn...I should probably shower... Won't want to do that at 6:45 am!
yeah coming to e town!!!!!!!!!!!! :) and i'm glad you wake up in the morn. and i just got over a cold, you better not get me sick!
ReplyDeleteWell I did wake up with a very mild sore throat this morning, and I was more warm than I would expect myself to be, HOWEVER, I think those were unrelated (I need a humidifier for my sore throat). So, I think that *knock on wood* I am not currently sick.
